This morning we welcomed a lovely sunny day. The clarity of water in the harbour was excellent.
Unfortunately we had very light winds, that commenced from SE then going E and NE. That was a challenge for our sailors. But throughout the morning everyone returned to the dock after absolutely enjoying their sailing.
We had a good number of volunteers today. Jim was the skipper of our escort vessel “Charlie’s Chariot”.
Some 14 participants joined in sailing with us. We launched 5 Hanse sailing dinghies that were well utilised, & some of our volunteers rotated as skippers.
We farewelled our regular volunteer Sophie who managed to give her time this morning before relocating to QLD to commence her university studies.
