Another beautiful day for Manly Sailability Volunteers, carers & participants. A gentle breeze for our skippers to take our disabled participants sailing around Manly Cove.
16 volunteers attended, with Warwick, Ken (photographer) & Peter B. in Charlie’s Chariot, mainly staying just outside the ferry lane for most of the morning, saving fuel due the the nations shortage, but still keeping an eye out on the fleet of 303s. Skippers were Jim G., Denis, Brian S., Peter W., John P., Jonathon S., David W., & Michael B. with Nola doing registration, Cory on radio duties, and Steve B., Steven F., Malcolm all on pontoon duties.
Rob was our first participant, followed by four pupils from Dee Why public school, then Terese Scott, Noel & Glenn from Royal Rehad, and last was Aiden.
All enjoyed their time on the water. Unfortunately a few participants failed to turn up.
Volunteers did a great job with packing up & all gear was stowed away by 12.15pm after another successful mornings sailing.
