We did not have a huge turn out for today’s sail, with only ten takers for this beautiful sailing day, including Fiona and Hanna, who have been waiting to return after months of Covid-19 isolation.
Wilma, Denis and Helen decided to stay ashore to manage cleaning, Radio and registration duties, while Michael, Nola, Ivan, Hanna, Jennie, Fiona took off across the bay in boats that had been rigged by the skippers, while Jim and Eli took over Support Boat duties. It was a peaceful morning, with slight southerly breezes to make the sailing easy, and beautiful scenery and atmosphere to make it all worthwhile. After a long sail, the breeze started turning into wind, and all came home to derig and clean. A good, old fashioned sailing day.
