The light winds this morning made this Regatta a matter of finding the skills to get around the course as efficiently as possible. Our 7 303’s were set up for light winds, but unfortunately the body weight of the sailors made a huge difference to their speed.
All of the boats were rigged by the teams taking them out.
It was great to see that 2 new sailors for our group were the second and third place getters.
A wonderful team of helpers arrived to take their places on Charlie’s Chariot: Driver: Warwick McKenzie, Buoy layer Ken Boyes, Observers and helpers: Su Ann, Virginia. The brilliant photos were taken by Minami.
