Blue. Absolutely blue. Not a single cloud. A light breeze and flat seas. Absent even the stifling humidity of recent days. Perfect conditions for our 25 clients from groups as diverse as Catholic Care, Sunnyfield, Northside and Luz. Alas, though, one of our volunteer skippers who will remain unnamed had other ideas. Perhaps inspired by the Donald and Bibi, John secreted a water canon onto his boat, coercing his Far West crew into launching a surprise attack on another unsuspecting vessel. Chaos threatened until Warwick, the helm of Charly’s Chariot in one hand and in the other a bucket holding more water than any feeble water canon, restored peace and decorum. So really, just another day at Manly Sailability.
