A warm sunny morning with a southeasterly breeze greeted us, with four boats initially rigged and Dennis repairing Woody. Another boat was rigged as clients arrived and eventually Woody was also put in the water.
The rescue boat was still out of action so the Manly sailing school boat was borrowed again.
This morning’s visitors were from Northside, and All Abilities. Ben arrived with his Mum. Vanessa, Paul and Grace came with their carers and Bradley arrived at the end independently. A total of 11 clients sailed this morning.
Caroline stepped in as Sailing day coordinator, with Warwick on the radio and Wilma on the reception desk. David Webb was skipper of the safety boat. Steve did a great job on the pontoon all morning.
Other volunteers for the day were, Skye, John W, Denis, Jim, Jay, Rob, Jeremy, Michael and Ros.
