Today started out a sunny morning with a south-easterly wind that provided pleasant sailing conditions .
We had sixteen volunteers today and were able to launch five boats with – Denis, David G, David W , Jim, Jeremy, David, Vince, Michael D as skippers and helpers as needed.
Wilma was on the registration desk , Ragnhild handled the radio and timekeeping , Nola with lifejackets, Malcolm , Joe, Justine and Nola on the pontoon.
Warwick & Clare manned the rescue boat and the camera.
Groups from Northside, Sunnyfield, Sargood and other individuals made up a list of sixteen participants.
Although some very dark clouds threatened during the morning, there was no rain, and the efforts of all of our Manly Sailability volunteers, and of our participants’ carers, ensured that everybody enjoyed their morning’s experience.
