Beautiful sunny weather greeted us this morning. The early, very light Southerly wind fortunately backed to the North East allowing for us to enjoy 7 to 10 knots breeze for our sailing.
Some 19 participants arrived eager for their outing on Manly Cove. Our team of 12 volunteers were kept extremely busy throughout the morning.
The registration of participants and radio communications were handled on the deck by Wilma and Corey.
Warwick and Eli were on “ Charlie’s Chariot” to ensure safety on the water.
Brian & Peter were kept very busy on the jetty helping the participants to board & alight the sailing dinghies.
All our 6 sailors for the morning, being John, Denis, Jeremy, Michael, Michael & David, also found themselves busy sailing with the participants throughout the whole morning.
A great effort by all our volunteers ensured a lovely morning on the water for the many participants.
