It was our last regular season session for this year, and exciting to have our group down at Manly for our final sail for this season.
Danny and Malena came from Freshwater High with helpers Jane and Shirley to have a sailing lesson, then Danny hopped into Charlie’s Chariot to see the situation form a different angle.
Then BIRDS, with helpers Gaynor, Neil and others arrived. The wind was a steady, fairly strong South Westerly, making for a cold, windy day. This caused a few of the BIRDS to decide to sit in the sun, rather than sail. Those that sailed had a brisk time on the water. Steve, Stuart, James, May, Brad, Danielle, Kris, and Patrick sailed, while Alan, Katherine and Dianne elected to go for a ride on Charlie’s Chariot.
