Today was a perfect sailing day, sunny, with light north easterly winds gradually building throughout the morning.
First client to arrive was Grace, who set off for a sail with John P, closely followed by Leonnie sailing with Peter. Clea was rigged and Ivan went off for a quiet sail by himself.
Warwick, Ken and Eli crewed Charlies Chariot and once again Wilma and Ros gave sterling service looking after our arriving guests, with Corey managing the comings and goings of the boats.
The next to enjoy a sail was Shane, followed by Eddie, Kyle and James from Catholic Care then regulars James, Alyce, Ella and Tarrek from Sunnyfield. Our sailors John B John P, Peter, Brian, Jim, Denis, Michael and Helene ensured everyone had an enjoyable sail in the light breeze.
Vanessa, Virginia and Anna followed, along with Grant, who preferred to ride in Charlie’s Chariot. Newcomer Sammy loved his long sail with Brian and our final participant, Hanlon leapt into the boat in his excitement to go for a sail with Helene.
John W was SDC and Justine, Peter, Deny and Michael managed the docking of the boats.
